Notifications
The portal keeps you informed by email and, for some alerts, text message — about your cellular usage and the requests you're involved in. This section explains what the portal sends, how to control what you receive, and (for administrators) how to customize the messages your organization sends.
What the portal notifies you about
- Usage alerts — a heads-up when a line is approaching its limit, and a notice when it goes over. See Overage Alerts Explained.
- Usage summaries — a periodic summary of usage once a billing period closes. Managers and administrators also receive team- and organization-level digests.
- Request updates — when a request needs your approval, and as it's approved, denied, sent to the service team, or completed. See Tracking Your Requests.
How notifications reach you
- Email — used for every notification type.
- Text message (SMS) — used for usage alerts only, and only when your organization's budget setup enables SMS and you have a mobile number on file. Request updates are always email.
- Language — notifications are sent in your preferred language, taken from your profile. See Your Profile & Preferences.
In this section
- Managing Your Preferences — choose which notifications you receive.
- Notification History — review what's been sent.
- Customizing Templates — (administrators) tailor the wording of your organization's notifications.
- Branding & Sender Settings — (administrators) set the logo, colors, support contacts, and sender identity on notifications.
