Bulk User Import Administrators
Most people in the portal aren't added by hand — they come from your organization's HR file. The import keeps the user list in sync with your HR system: it creates people who are new, updates details that changed (name, title, manager, contact info), and flags anything it couldn't process. It's part of your file feeds, managed under Settings → Data.
Checking the import ran
Two screens on the File Feeds & Data Health page tell you how the latest HR file did:
- Feed status — whether the HR file arrived (on time, late, or missing) and how many records it processed.
- Import warnings — non-fatal issues from the file that are worth a look, such as a duplicate email, an email whose format looks off, or an email that doesn't match sign-in records. These don't stop the import — the row still comes in — but they're flagged for review, and you acknowledge them once handled.
Correct the source data in your HR system and the next file picks up the fixes.
How the HR file maps to the portal
Because every organization's HR export is different, the fields in your file are mapped to the portal's fields under Settings → Data → HR file mapping. Contact DecisionPoint if your file format changes or a new field needs mapping.
